Trump was on to something when he said our country is full. It’s full of scum like this.

(CNN) A New York man is in custody after having been arrested and charged with threatening to assault and murder Rep. Ilhan Omar, according to the US Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York.

Patrick Carlineo of Addison, New York, threatened to kill Omar because of her Muslim faith, according to a criminal complaint and accompanying affidavit.

According to the FBI affidavit, Carlineo, 55, phoned Omar’s D.C. office on March 21, and told the staffer who answered the phone that the Minnesota representative was a “(expletive) terrorist” and he would “put a bullet in her (expletive) skull.” Apparently not the brightest bulb on the planet, this gentleman also provided the correct spelling of his name as well as his contact information.

Carlineo received a visit from the FBI, on March 29, whereupon he proudly identified himself as a supporter of our stochastic terrorist president, along with other compassionate political viewpoints.

He was later interviewed by authorities where he stated that he was a patriot, that he loves President Donald Trump, and "that he hates radical Muslims in our government," the affidavit stated.

Mr. Carlineo at first denied he had threatened Rep. Omar, but under further questioning admitted he “may have said something like that but was unsure.” He confirmed he had a .22-caliber rifle and a shotgun in his house. In the police video of the raid on his home there is a small sign on Mr. Carlineo’s garage that reads: “The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes. The response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second.”

In other words, Carlineo is just one among thousands of ticking time bombs in this country with their eyes glued to Fox News every night.

Carlineo is being held ahead of a preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday. He faces ten years in prison, a $250,000 fine, or (preferably) both.

It’s not clear whether he’ll get to hang his little sign in his jail cell.
